Your Mac's Specs
iMac Core i5(3.6 GHz) 8 GB RAM, MBP C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 4 GB RAM, MB C2Duo(2.4 GHz) 2 GB RAM
If I want to upgrade to a larger hard drive, to I have to give it in to a service center, or can I purchase a larger HD myself, install it, and reinstall the OSX discs that came with my computer?

I can't remember for sure, but I think it might void the warrenty if you do it yourself... I thought the only do it yourself upgrade that didn't void warrenty was with RAM.

Yes, it will void your warranty if you upgarde the HD yourself. The only thing you can upgrade without voiding your warranty is the RAM.
