vlc for .bin?

so im downloading aim for mac and when i try to install it, it trys to install in vlc. i know there is no way this is right. what program should i use or download to get this thing installed?

You need to download Stuffit Expander. I had the same problem not long ago.

thanks alot that worked i guess i accidentally deleted it off since it was on my mac before

When I had the problem, I had it on my Mac already. But it wouldn't open .bin, after downloading that it worked. Strange?
