Hey all.

I was messing around with garage band trying to make some audio clips for a soundboard I was putting togather, but I can't seem to make a clip shorter then 8 seconds. Is this somekind of default that you can't override? Really annoying that a 2 sec sound bite has to be followed by 6 sec of blank noise.

Thanks for your read and greater thanks for any advice.

You can Fiish. Try turning off the snap grid in the CONTROL menu. Record the audio you need and then stop as soon as you got what you want. If it's longer, grab the audio region's end and drag in to the desired point.

Didnt work :( .

Unless I'm doing something wrong, is that purple back arrow suposed to be the end of the audio clip? If so I can't move it back past 8 sec.

Can anyone try this and then tell me if they can do it?
