I'm selling my house and moving across the country, so I'll be offline for a while.

I'm cancelling my phone and ISP service first thing in the morning. I might be able to log on to say hello from time to time using borrowed computers, but it'll be a couple of months before I'm settled in and can use my own machine. So arrivederci, Mac-Forums, for a while.

Thanks, guys. Jeez, I hate moving. The big stuff is easier to do than all the little stuff that has to be done all at once before locking the door for the last time.

What a pain.

I love the fact that everyone now has to sign off before going away ;)

Good luck with the move and getting settled into the new place!

Hi, all

I'm back online, but I'll be without my own machine for a while. I'm using a jelly-bean iMac running 9.2.2 with 96 megs of RAM.

I was behind the curve with my G4, but now I can't even see it.

The inter-web and Mac-Forums drill: Quit IE. Haul up Monitors. Switch to 1024 X 768. Switch to 256 colours from millions. Switch to Grays so the thing won't churn forever. Restart. Fire up Mozilla. Turn off JavaScript to allow 9.2.2 to post (don't forget br / br / (with them technical, sideways pointy thingies before and after each) to make paragraphs.

Ponder why this thing lets me sign into Yahoo mail when 9.2.2 on my G4 wouldn't allow it. Ponder how to forward delete on the iMac's keyboard. Ponder the meaning of Winnipeg.

Holy moly!!! You posted this while I was out of an ISP too! Anyway I gather everything went well. I miss ya, Browny! I can hardly wait till you're all settled in and ready to go online regularly again!

In the meantime, take it easy and we'll still be here waiting for your return, man!

Ah, Winnipeg: Mosquito Capital of the whole wide world! :D

Welcome back! I have been here less than normal this month, so I missed your "goodbye" and wondered where you've been. It's good to "see" you again. :)
