#1 - Duality.
You can run Windows Vista/XP and Mac OS X on a Mac, but you can only run Windows OS on a PC.
#2 - Style.
The Mac is very, very sleek and sexy, while PC's are big, dull and boring.
#3 - FUN!.
The Mac makes things very fun. The dock is fun to play with as is almost everything. PC's are no fun. When's the last time you had fun clicking your start bar?
#4 - Viruses.
Its a known fact: Macs are less likely to obtain viruses then PC's are. Actually, this morning, I woke up, went to my desk, and turned on my MacBook Pro and my Dell PC. My Mac booted fine, with lightning speed. My froze on start up, so I restarted it. Then....it brought my to the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!!! ...Seriously though, I can't do anything with my PC now. It's just frozen on the blue screen. I told my dad, and he said we need to erase the hard drive and re-install XP, so thats what we're gonna do. Point Proven.

Ummm, the BSOD is rarely caused by a virus.
It would be better to separate it out showing the system stability issues.
People who have virus on their Windows desktop are teenagers who just look up porn all day and know nothing about computers. Its your FAULT for having virus on your computer and for not taking care of it. I look up porn all day and no virus. Its a simple thing called virus scan. hahahaha

How does the MB keyboard compare to the MBP keyboard?

On the MB, the keys are more spaced out while on the MBP the keys are closer together. It just depends on which one you like better. For me, its the MBP.

The MBP has a much larger footprint than I really want in a laptop... but man, I'm getting really tempted.

MBP has great texture, spaced perfectly, lights up, comfortable for long typing sessions, and has just the right amount of tactile feel... of course that's IMO.
MB has a good keyboard, but compared to the MPB and the standard kb with the intel iMacs, the MB's keyboard is third place... IMO.

7) You have the choice of 3 operating systems

9) Feels like it will last you at least 5 years
10) Despite the efforts of Sony, it still blows away the competition in terms of styling. Quite amazing how 1 BlackBook can bring a room to a standstill as they all gather around. It brings out the geek in all of us.
It is great to stand out from the crowd and you can laugh at those people having Windows problems while your Mac just keeps cruising along.

I think it is just as reliable as windows. I have had a few crashes just copying text from Word to another word doc on Mac osx

Macbooks are great. I have the mid range MBP myself.
I only have 1 reason. The choices of machines. There are only 3 MPB to choose. Its a lot easier to choose 1 of 3 than 1 of 1000.
