iphone widgets?

hey all. i am the proud owner of a shiny new iPhone. i do have one questions i cant seem to find a good answer for here or via google.

on the main screen of your iphone you have what looks like widgets... weather, youtube, etc. can you download more of these widget lookalikes somewhere?

and has apple mentioned anything about an ichat compatable update? after spending 500 bucks on my iphone and having a sidekick and blackberry in the past, id really like the ability to log onto aim, msn or yahoo. thanks!

You can go to www.meebo.com for now, and login to whatever IM you would like to use. I have not seen any reports about Apple creating iChat for iPhone at the moment, but i'm optimistic.
