can you add your own sounds from an .mp3 file into garage band. i would like to add different drum kits and i was just wondering if this is possible.

You can import files from iTunes through Media Browser>Audio. I don't know how to do it if you don't have your sounds in iTunes though. Sorry.

Your Mac's Specs
1.67ghz powerbook G4, 1GB RAM, 100GB HD.
Create a new blank track and then drag and drop the file from the desktop onto the new tack.

Are you talking about creating your own Loops for use within iTunes?
