My only concern now is how I would go about replacing/upgrading the HDD. I've never had a drive fail on me until last month, the system drive on my PC that I put together myself crashed after three years of service. I do a weekly backup all my documents and such, and the swap to a new drive was easy.

I've replaced drives on VAIOs and Dells before, but after reading some posts on these forums, it seems the upgrade or replacement of HDD on MBPs is not as easy. When the need comes, what or who would I need to go to have this done? I'm assuming Apple has a service charge for this type of work? Does applecare cover this or offer discounts for the service?

Any advice and input on this is appreciated, thanks.
