GL1 or GL2

at some point this summer im planning on getting a DV cam with 3 ccds etc etc. is there a noticable difference in picture quality between the 2 cameras or is the main difference the price??

ok so i am highschooler in a video production class and we have a gl1 and a gl2. I greatly prefer the gl2 because of its features that it has and also the qaulity. The qaulity of the gl2 isn't a whole lot better but it is better. i also like the overall update in the design its a nicer looking camera. if you have anymore questions i can try and answer them
