I need a video player...

When I now click on some news sites, they request a player but when I downloaded one, it was for (Eeewww!) Windows! What do you gentlemen suggest I add to my Mac?

Flip4Mac lets you watch WMV videos using Quicktime and VLC plays a lot of formats; there's also Chroma, DivX Player and Cellulo.

Perian is an excellent plug in for QT that lets you play virtually any format in QT.

perian is good, but their are some things that will not play in quicktime, so the best all around video player i have seen, which is better in my opinion than quicktime is VLC. With that you will probably never have a problem, VLC plays literally anythin...
