The Obligatory Goodbye Thread

I am leaving on Sunday May 27th to work at a Bible Camp for the summer. I am very excited. I will be leading worship, working with campers, canoeing, camping, and other fun campish stuff. It is going to be a good time. I will only have internet access on weekends, this will significantly decrease the amount of time I can spend on this forum.

I will be starting up a blog(probably on blogspot) that I will update weekly and such. This will be my main medium of contact for those I love, but you guys can check it out too if you wish. There are a couple people on the forums here who I think might care how and what I am doing. Anyways, this is getting long winded so yes.

For those too lazy to read the whole thing here:

Oh, and I hope that the community only gets better while I'm gone. If I come back and things have fallen apart, I'm coming after you!!!

Skye, hope you have a terrific summer.

I'm jealous! I used to work at Dunes Bible Camp in Ocean Park, WA for 5 summers running, then I got a job, and after that I joined the Navy. Now I'm lucky to get enough time to go home at night.

Enjoy and help others enjoy their time as well. We will still be here when you get back and it may even be like days of our lives....you know if you havent seen an episode for a while when you get back its like you never left.

Skye, what an awesome thing to do. I hope you have some good input into young lives and that God will bless all of you mightly!

I've been to many Bible camps and retreats and I know how life changing they can be.

We'll miss ya!

I'm having trouble connecting the words "fun" and "bible camp" in the same sentence . :/


But if it works for you have yourself a good time away from computer screens and out on the fresh air!

of course it will be fun! i love working with youth and i love God. mix em together and haha! fun!

well i am done cleaning, now i just need to pack.

When I come home i'll only be home for 2 weeks at most then ill be moving into the dorms at UW:Eau Claire. It will be interesting seeing how this summer will go.
