Hello explorer1979,

Welcome to the Forums, enjoy ur stay :D

I have a Black MacBook, and I run Windows XP through Parallels and it runs really good with no major issues. It took a little less than an hour to install the whole deal with Parallels the install wizard works like a charm.

Concerning Adobe, I personally don't use that but, I use quite a few programs through Win XP via Parallels and they all work beautifully, so I'd say Adobe will do just the same.

You'll also find that some folks around here like to run Windows through Boot Camp, but (don't quote me on that tho) Boot Camp doesn't support Vista but I am 100% sure that Parallels DOES.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Boot Camp does allow you to run 32bit Vista since the March update.

From what some people were saying, you don't want to use vista through parallels. They said it doesn't run perfectly smooth until you're running 3gb's of ram. You want to use bootcamp.

And yes, Boot Camp does support Vista.

You are soooooo lucky ToddG is no longer here :D:D:D:D

To answer your questions...

Bootcamp is very easy to install and use (I just did it last night). Simply follow the directions... You will need a copy of XP that includes SP2.

All it does it allows you to start Windows, instead of OSX. It is easy to use.

You must have the correct CD to install it. You need Windows XP SP2 (service pack 2). If you do not have that, you can get help to make your own CD (we can tell you how).

Tell us what disk you have and what machine you will install it on.

You are welcome.

It is better to post questions on the forum than PM, so that other people can help, and people with the same questions can read the answers.

Nah, he said thanks to all.

I'm trying to type for someone with English as a second language, it might just be that my message was a little easier to read.
