How do you do the windows "delete"?

devilboy, i was just trying to find the equivalent of the "delete" key on windows keyboards(mac keyboards have a delete key, but it means backspace).

you can use the app DoubleCommand to assing Delete to the Enter key, which isn't really used...

The "Delete" key under F13 is a backspace (erase) key. The "Delete" key to the right and under F14 and the help key will actually delete anything that is highlighted, e-mails, etc. Is this what you mean?

if he has a macbook or mbp, he won't have that option.

actually for that delete, we mb/mbp users have to command+delete.

command + delete will do it on any desktop.

command is the "Apple key" next to the Option (known to PC users as Alt) key.

Command + Delete does nothing for me. I use Command + Backspace on my iMac.

Cmd + Delete works.
