In Windows XP, I could go to Start > All Programs> Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control. Then switch over to Recording Control.

If I selected Stereo Mix in Recording Control, i would be able to record any audio that came out of the speakers.

Is there any way to record any audio that comes out of my speakers on Mac? Any free software to do it?
