Hi, my name is Steve, and I am Mac-aholic.

Six months ago I switched from a Wintel laptop to a MacBook Pro laptop.

I loaded Parallels and Win-XP on it, and never really used them other than to show people I could do it.

Last week my main Windows/Intel desktop workstation died (again).

I will not get it fixed this time.

This week, my new MacPro desk workstation will arrive.

My name is Steve, and I am a Mac-aholic . . .

Anyone want to buy a copy of Parallels?

Everything in moderation is my motto. I use a PC daily, but not in my home....

I feel the same, expecially with Boot Camp. I thought I would do all my gaming on Boot Camp, but I HATE Windows so much after using OS X, that I'm actually a lapsed gamer.

Mac-aholic seven steps:

1. Make sure you get *some* fresh air daily
(actually go outside, don't just sit near an open window!)
2. Eat meals a couple of times a day
3. Bathe or shower and brush your teeth at least once a day
4. Call your loved ones ~ or email ~ to let them know you're alive
5. If you find yourself getting back online after you've gone to bed, try shutting a notebook computer down and putting it in a case in the closet. (I have no deterrent suggestion for desktops.)
6. Get your work done
7. Visit Mac-Forums for moral support
;D

(Unfortunately, these steps must be taken in rapid succession, as opposed to weekly or monthly!)
