hi all ,
Guys and girls .... did any of you have installed *****x on mac before ?

and what is the most poplur irc server and channal for mac users ?

i have visited this page
but got the following error while downloading

as what you can see this folder portslocation/dports/*****x
was not exists ... i have created(would that be a problem ? ) !!!!

guys the application name is bi-tchx "without the dash" it is an irc chat program used usually in the terminal

Try using Fink and FinkCommander. They always work well for me.

Have you installed X11 and Xcode developer tools? Almost all Macports stuff requires that you have those installed to build them, and it looks like you problem might be that you'r emissing something one of them provides.

The code is sorely out of date.
Try
X-Chat Aqua, Colloquy or any of the other OS X IRC clients out there...they're much better. And current.

I'm glad you cleared that up, because I was thinking 'what a stupid name. who puts all those asterisks in a name'. lol. Apparently there's some sort of filter on the forum?
