Le Dock.

Greetings.
As I learn more and more about MacOSX and iMacs in general, it makes my hatred of windows vista and PCs grow.

On that note, I posses a fake version of OSX's dock on my Vista:

Notice it has my documents, videos pictures hard drives etc on the dock. With the OSX version I've notice it only has Applications, is it possible to place HD's and documents folders on there, so I can have a clear desktop - as in, no hard drive icon on the desktop?

You can place an alias to just anything you like in the Dock.

Can you guys believe how quickly XP dated in terms of styling? Its so awful, when I was using XP I used the windows classic theme rather than that awful blue start bar and windows.
It makes me laugh how ahead apple are over windows in design. OSX panther still looks **** good.

Yes, pretty much the same thing, just different verbage.

interestingly,i don't think there is a way to remove the mac harddrive icon from ur desktop

Yes, there is.
Just uncheck it in your Finder preferences.
