Hello Kiddos,

I love my mac,
But i also love The Sims,
And since i cant play The Sims (and other games) on my mac (I don't think so anyway-can I?)
I sometimes, like many others, have to use a -GASP- PC!
But anyway,
My little g3 imac is so small sitting there on my desk,
There is a whole area of my desk that's just blank where my PC tower used to go, and i think I am going to move my PC back in my bedroom so I don't have to go in my basement to play my games,
But of course, my monitor wont fit on the same desk as my mac,
So what I'm wondering is, Can I use my iMac as my PC monitor?
Could I just take my cord and plug one end in my iMac and the other end in my PC?

Thanks folks,
Tanner.

No, you cannot do this. You will have to find an actual monitor for your Windows machine.

And The Sims is available on the Mac...a Google search will show you where.

Yes you can do this, the sims might be available for Macs, but you'll not have much fun running it on that old G3!

Check out Screenrecycler. It's designed to be used on a Mac, but as it uses VNC, you can probably use your PC with it as well.

Caveat: It connects over the network, so although it will run fairly smoothly, it might have a fair bit of lag - possibly enough to make the game unplayable...

Sooper Fast!
You can find a nice 22" widescreen for about $250-$300 if I remember prices correctly.
