• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi,

I’ve searched the web and this forum about my issue to no avail. When I view trailers within Front Row, they are not in HD; yet apple has a page where you can download them.

Can I integrate them to make it automatically download the HD versions?

Thank you

Well, had never downloaded one myself, but went and checked it out. Downloaded a couple in 720p. Found 2 places I could then play them in FrontRow. The only one that actually played it in fullscreen (or HD) was under - Video - Video Podcasts; this without moving it from where iTunes places them under Podcasts.

They are not saved in movie trailers. iTunes saves them in Podcasts. Open Frontrow, go to Video, then Video Podcasts - you will find them there.

Looks to me like Movie Trailers is tied to the iTunes store and when you select one from there it is streamed from iTunes at that time.
