Hi

Wonder if someone can help ??

I am thinking of purchasing a WD My Book World Edition II 1TB NAS device (WDG2NC10000).

In all of the documentation it says it's windows only (WD Anywhere Access software). Can I plug this into my router and will the MAC just pick it up as a NAS device or do I need to install the WD Access Anywhere software to use it.

Thanks
Gaz

Answering my own post......
You can access the drive from Mac, Linux and Windows. If you need to use the access anywhere then that is win only. Otherwise it simply uses SAMBA shares so can be access by \\<drivename>
