Spring? So they say... We've had snow on the last two days. Right when the earth was actually all bare and ready to go. Gah!

BTW, nice pics, TS.

not here - we just got a bunch of snow and are expecting more by Monday. It is april, right? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I was ready to break out my bike and now I'm pulling the snowboard back out...

Nice pics, btw...

Hi,

What camera are you using? compact, SLR?

The images are nicely composed, but lacking a little in sharpness IMHO.

Hey Gilesjuk!

Im using a Nikon D50 DSLR. The reason they may be lacking in some sharpness is thanks to the high jpeg compression i have had to chuck on them so that they fit within the boards restrictions on file sizes :)

It's been snowing for the past week and a half. Everymorning it's been snowing, though it's not sticking, it's so cold out.

Hmm, well I don't think jpeg would lose you that much sharpness.

The sharp aperture for a lens is typically two stops below full open. I think the flowers would have benefitted from a larger aperture so the whole of the flower was sharp, greater depth of field.

Hope I'm making sense?

Yeh your making sense, I appreciate the feedback :)

Ive still only been taking photographs properly for about a year. Whilst were on the subject of lenses...

Could you or anyone else recommend lenses that are...

Good for macro and

Good for the much more long range stuff...

:)

I like the one named DSC_0002_marked 9 (with the reflection on water), because it is abstract.
One big issue I have is that they don't fit in my window. I tried Command 0 like in Quark, but did not budge. How do you make the photo fit the browser window perfectly?

When I opened those photos, they are so huge, I cannot see the whole picture. Is there any way to make them fit in my screen size, so I don't have to scroll?

MadDoG, both "autumn" and "fall" are correct here in the States.
