Hey, posting this in case anyone else has experienced the same thing: My facebook account, by now several months old, has mysteriously vanished! This morning as I entered my password to sign in, I was faced with a "Confirm your account" message as if I'd never logged on before! My original account information, my friends, my pictures, and all my profile stuff was GONE! The only thing I have left from my original account is my name and birth date. How did this happen and has anyone else experienced the same thing? Oh, and to cover a few things:

1.) I have not done anything obscene or against facebook policy.
2.) I have not mis-spelled my email or password.
3.) None of my friends know my password, and wouldn't do this to me anyway.

VERY strange.

There's been a layout-redesign today, and possibly some stuff done to the database as well (read something brief about it). Whatever's happened is probably a cause of that. Maybe it'll work itself out in a couple of hours. If not - sorry mate

Found the problem. I had 2 email addresses listed on facebook and overnight they changed my contact email, probably a side effect of the updates. Apparently the contact email is also the email used for logging in, so if anyone else has the same issue this could be the cause.
