Hi,

I have a Macbook connected to my network, which has a NAS also on it. How can I get a "shortcut" placed on my desktop to a particular area on the NAS?

I can see the directory if I use Recent Network places, but I would rather have a Shortcut on the desktop?

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

After you connect to a drive on the NAS you have an icon for that drive on your desktop. You option+command+drag the desktop icon to create an alias. Is that what you want?
