• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi,

I guess my 1st post, didn't...

Can anyone play the news videos from this site KLAS-TV?

The site help section say to download WMP, but I can't find it, when I do, I get a Quicktime Error saying the file is unreadable, or something along those lines.

And, the site also says Flip4Mac is not supported. Am I stuck viewing these videos, and other news videos, on a non-Mac?

Any info/help will be greatly appreciated, as this is my favorite site and the only reason my HP laptop hasn't been retired.

Thank you M-F members, you all are top-notch! :):headphone

my local newspaper uses that same format. Only way I have gotten it to work is to get the URL of the video on a windows machine and plug it into quicktime
