Hi all, I've just been given a SVCD.tar file, and I haven't got a clue what to do with it? Do I put it in toast and burn onto a CD? I'm a n00b so I haven't got a clue. If anybody could help that would be great.

Thanks

Normally a file with the extension of tar is a unix tarball file. This is a fat file that contains a bunch of files and/or directories. What is it you want to do with the file?

You can use Aladdin's stuffit expander to get to the contains of the tarball. If thsi is a video file, then you might want to burn a disc.
