quick email question. . .

Im a yahoo mail user and I know I cannot use it as my mail when I click the stamp, but is there away I can make it my default mail program (like whden using crigslist)

You can, but you'll need this system preference pane to do so:

You would set protocol "mailto" to open safari. But It probably wont honor url variables like subject, to, from, etc..

Why not just "bookmark" yahoo mail in your browser - it only takes two clicks to get to it. I do this because I use my Yahoo address for forum replies, etc. and keep my private mail address logged with Mac Mail.

If you have the upgrade version of Yahoo you can use Mail to download email from Yahoo. It doesn't cost that much per year. I had it for awhile, then decided to switch over to mac.com.
