Good Coffee based in Kona, Hawaii. I'm lucky enough to live 2 miles away from the only shop in the Midwest. If more people knew about it, it'd annihilate Starbucks. If you're ever so lucky to visit one, ask for the Jitter Juice!

Do you live in Indy?

I am not much of a coffee aficionado, so when I do have it I'll just go to Starbucks.

No, I'm about 75 miles west of Chicago.

Here's a map of their locations:

The "ma and pop" shops out by me are terrible. I've gone to a couple and their coffee tastes like something from the Exxon Valdez spill.

Starbucks. I usually go for their brewed dark roast. However, of late I've gotten hooked on their espresso beans. I've been grinding and brewing my own, using a little stovetop espresso maker. Hmmm... I'm thirsty... -_^

Seattle's Best Columbian and Starbucks' House Blend are my current two favorites. I've been a Seattle's Best fan for awhile now, so I'm leaning toward them as the best - unfortunately, I can only find it at Borders' Books locally, so it's rare that I have the beans.

I should also point out that I try to drink organic fair-trade coffee whenever possible.

Two of my favorite coffee shops in case you're ever in the Cleveland area:
Café AhRoma at Trinity Cathedral where I go to church

and

Phoenix Coffee

Back home, a little place called Sunny Day, there's one and it's a drive through outside of Shelton, WA.

Second fave, and the one I frequent the most is called Bertolino's, with 3 locations around the Tacoma, WA, and Gig Harbor area. I did 4H with relatives of the owners of Bertolino's. Plus, they have free wifi, and one is open 24 hours.

Cutter's Pointe is also really good.

I always thought there were 2 kinds of people, Starbucks people, and Dunkin Donuts people, but I guess the smaller places are doing well for themselves too.

I never liked Starbucks, but was immediately hooked on Dunkin Donuts when I lived in Florida. Too bad they're very scarce in the midwest.
