Okay, I've had my iBook G4 for 2 1/2 years. I love it, always will. but I feel in the coming months, it's time for an upgrade. I was originally going to go with a Macbook Pro. But now I'm having second thoughts.
Now I'm thinking, maybe I should wait and see the new lineup of iMacs. Considering this iBook is decently new ( it still kicks butt!), and I only surf the web, use Adium, use iTunes etc. outside of my home, why invest in another laptop, when I really need a more powerful home desktop? Currently, to keep me satisfied for the time being, I'm upgrading my RAM in my iBook.

So should I go with the Macbook Pro or iMac?
(My wouldn't a mounted iMac look pretty [=)

I have no problems with my G4 PowerBook and see no reason to upgrade. I really only use it in front of the TV to surf the Internet. Pretty cool machine for that. I have a desktop G5 that works great too! Nah I'm gonna lay low for a year or so and see where this technology goes and let them work more o ft he bugs out.

Haha, I think so too. This computer is still kickin', and an iMac is considerably cheaper than a Macbook Pro (with the right specifications).
