Hey i just got my first infraction for calling some one a Di.. and now i am afraid of ever calling some one a di.. just wondering home guys or gals on here have gotten an infraction before

It's safe to say that you should avoid calling anyone anything besides their actual name :bone: . Otherwise you do run the risk of offending someone at which point a reprimand is in order. Same idea for profanity (which I recently violated without even realizing), pornography, pirating, ect., just don't do it.

Someone posted in these forums yesterday commenting on how open and friendly the community at M-F is. Like all communities, it has a little bit of "policing" to keep it that way. Sorry that you fell victim to it. Hopefully you can take the higher view and recognize that it is all in the spirit of keeping Mac Forums as friendly and welcoming as possible. Its good for all of us.

I think calling someone any nanme other than their own is a bad idea. This is a pretty decent place with decent people. If you can't be that way, maybe move along.

I have had a couple infractions just for using stars (****) to replace certain words, and I see that a lot around this forum, so there must be a lot of people with infractions.
