*shakes head in amazement*
OK, so who started laughing hysterically when they realized exactly HOW useful the dashboard was? Cute gimmick I thought. I added a chia pet and a lava lamp. I used it to check the weather once. *yawn*
Then I was poking around in preferences and realized F12 would display it. Oh isn't that nice, I don't have to mouse to water my chia pet.
Clicked a bit more, played a bit more. Hmm, I can add an iTunes controller to the dashboard. Oh and post it notes.
A few minutes later I am writing away and a song I didn't want clicks on. I hit F12, hit fast forward, escape, and I was back to work. *blink*
It seems like such a simple thing but not having to mouse over to the dock, open iTunes, hit fast forward, minimize iTunes again. It saves clicks, it saves time, it just works!
OK that's my Mac moment for the day, back to what you were doing.
(PS - Roommate has started giving me dirty looks from behind her Dell laptop.)
