wondering about media players

i have entire albums on my macbook
but can't figure out when i drag the songs into itunes or whamb why they won't play in order by the numbers
the playlist is random..and nope i don't have the players on random

Do you have the track listings all uniform ... like 1 of 12 etc. To have them play in order just click the Album header, that usually fixes that up. Just make sure all the tagged info is uniform for each album and you should be right.

well when i right click the files and open in itunes it's still random

If you import a folder containing an albums worth of songs into iTunes and click the Album Header to arrange the songs in your library by Album, then does that put them in track order?

That attachment is of the collumn headers ... it's very small and when you click on it you need to look towards the top of the white page area to see the png file.

i just put new smart playlist
typed the album name in
it came up
but when the album is there under playlist it still isn't in order

I'm just back from having my tea .... ok, with reference to the general itunes library .... did things work out?
