iSight questions

heres a question that ive looked for an answer for but have been unable to find:

can i use the isight camera on my mbp to capture video? and can i use it with the image capture app?

Basically these are the steps involved in making a youtube video:

1. Fire up iMove, choose "iSight" as the video format.
2. There's a switch near the play button that toggles import and edit modes. In the import mode, a big button appears on the viewing area: "Record with iSight".
3. Record your movie with that very button. Your camera fires up automatically.
4. Your recorded clip appears in the clips area. Go to edit mode and drag it to the timeline.
5. Go to the File menu, and choose Export. Now choose Web Streaming, and iMovie will optimize the video for web usage and save it.
6. Upload to YouTube.

i have imovie HD and after step 1 i cannot seem to go on as i cannot seem to figure out what step two is refering to

YAY i figured it out...there is a little slider on the to the left of the rewind button which is to the left of the play button..just slide that over to the little camera icon..
