Allright mac forumers. I was talking to a couple buddies last night, and we got in a debate in which is better. Please state why you like one from the other. If you dont drink soda. Then Pick one based on the adverts or the even the colour of the product.

Ther is only one rule in hist thread:
- No flamming a member of this forum. flammin of coke or pepsi(not the people who like the product) however is allowed

I choose Coke becasue the can is red, and has a polar bear mascott. I dont drink either

I have had this debate many times with friends and even started a poll exactly the same on av forums and coke won.

It is obviously the best.

"Better." When comparing two items, there's only a "better," no "best."

:)

All that said, Coke Rules.

If this thread keeps going I'm afraid the arguments will get hotter than any Mac vs. PC argument ever has. People are very defensive of their cola. What you can do to get people really annoyed with you is to say you prefer RC.

I prefer Pepsi although don't really like either.

I think Pepsi seems less gassy or less fizzy - I can kind of taste Pepsi were as a fresh opened can of Coke is so fizzy I just want to swallow it or spit it out to get it out of my mouth.

Ultimately I try not to drink either unless it is mixed with something else (Vodka, Whisky etc)

If I'm having a soft-drink at a pub (example) then I try to have Lemonade or J2O or whatever it's called.

I drink neither.

When I did, I preferred the taste of Pepsi.

I voted for Coke because we own stock and would like to encourage everyone to drink it more. :) And Dasani is the best-tasting bottled water on the market.

We should have a third option: Neither

If you knew what Coke and Pepsi do to your system, you'd stay far away from them too. :biohazard

Currently shopping for my first Mac.
I don't drink soda very often, but I like Pepsi over Coke. Coke is a little too sweet for me.
