I saw this on Digg's front page. Many people claim this to be a fake as it is just a video uploaded to the iPod and the hold button activated to prevent the iPod from actually responding to the guy touching the scroll wheel.

I personally think it would be really cool if this was going to show up on the next firmware update. But I guess we'll have to wait until then to find out whether this video was real or not.

i dont have no mac's
i doubt it is real because it would use up so much memory(read battery life) just simply searching for your songs. also i dont believe that the ipods tiny lil processor is going to have the support for 3d rendering

It's fake... Just a video (Screencast) that he has memorized the movements to make it look as if it is actually working. Pretty cool way to trick friends though...

Check out OS X on the iPod: :D:D:D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9teB3cgZGcw

No you won't. You would have received a Software Update notice about the iPod firmware long before this clown had the chance to make the movie, load it on his iPod, and then practice his thumb movements to sync up with the movie playing.
There isn't any need to wait for anything.
