okay, so i used to have approximately 35 GB of music on my mac's hard drive, but then i wiped because i wanted to start fresh..... i was wondering, about how many songs do you think that would be if most were at 192 to 198 kbps quality?

well, i've got my music sorted into folders, and most of my stuff is encoded at 192.

by coincidence, one of my folders is 995Mb in size and contains 156 files.

so 156 x 35 = 5460.

sound close? (i feel like i'm in a jellybean counting contest)
