Apple Shipping?

So I ordered a custom MacBook Pro (15", 3GB RAM, 120GB HDD, FinalCut, etc.) and am dying to get my first ever Mac. How quick is Apple's shipping? Will I get it within 1 business week? I am dying!!!

I'd say they're pretty good. Although I've never ordered a computer online I have ordered 2 iPods and both came a day before expected But others might have a different experience.

I wouldn't doubt it, I ordered my MacBook with the 2GB upgrade and got it in about 5 days. On a side note, I also ordered Microsoft Office for Mac and received it about 18 hours after I placed the order from Apple.

Apple themselves are great. Most standard configs they send within 1-2 days, thats assuming UPS doesn't mess up your delivery. They should change couriers.

I agree with everyone else that there shipping is very efficient!!!

I think their standard and "most popular" configurations ship within one business day. Any build-to-order systems take a little longer, and I believe a 3 GB RAM config is build-to-order. However, the shipping choice you choose to pay for (free ground, 2 day, or next day) will be the biggest deciding factor. I ordered my MBP standard base config at 3:30 PM central time on a Wednesday, paid for next day air, and it was on my door step at 1:00 PM the next day.

A co-worker ordered a custom built MacBook on a Thursday, it was delivered on Monday. Not bad coming from China.
