I use iwork '06 and my dictionary default is set to american-english.

It keeps trying to change words like 'organisation' to 'organization'.

It's really hacking me off. I looked in the help to find out how to change the default dictionary to UK-English and it says:

"If you'd like more options, including the ability to choose different dictionaries, choose Edit > Spelling > Spelling to open the Mac OS X Spelling window."

However, the spelling window doesn't give me this option. (see attachment)

Where am I going wrong?

Where am I going wrong?

Somewhere over the Atlantic, presumably.

I would guess that Pages may use the default OS X dictionary and thesaurus; do you have your System Preferences set up to English English, or American English?

Not sure how to change the default Dictionary... What you CAN do is "Add" the word "orginisation" to the dictionary, so that it will stop seeing it at as an incorrect word.

Yeh, everything is set to UK english in perferences, which is why it's confusing me!

I keep on adding words, but it seems never-ending, and then I start doubting my own spelling.
