how do i make it so my mbp doesnt sleep or turn the screen off when im watching a movie on quicktime??

go into your system preferences and look under energy saver.

The simplest way may just be to go to System Preferences, Energy Saver and change the sleep time to a time larger than the length of the movie.

i can just make a custom one then right? and then change it according to what im doing and how i want it to sleep
