Companies are offering mac opportunities to put there os onto there machines... Can anyone see apple eventually allowing this?
I persoanlly think it will cause problems as apples os is based around apples hardware.

However i do see a possibility with this as mac's are allowing windows to be installed and might have to return the favor

What do you all think?

As long as Steve Jobs is running Apple, it's not going to happen. After that, who knows?

It didn't work the last time Apple licensed its OS. That was a disaster in the end and didn't offer any real advantage for Apple. They won't do it again.

This is something Apple would not do. If they did, they would have the same problems Microsoft has. Supporting many differenct types of hardware. Apple would also mostly lose in hardware sales.

The beauty of OS X would be lost on by licensing it for use on other vendor's machines. In the end you will wind up with another buggy OS trying it's best to support every hardware known to man.

I guess thats why macs are so desireable
because you need to have the specific hardware for it. ie the mac

It also stops driver signing problems etc that you get in windows
