I ordered a MacBook Pro! It is a refurb 15" C2Duo.

I am really excited. Of course, now I have to go through the dreadful waiting-for-it-to-get-here. Yuck. I'm in for a long weekend.

Anyways, I will probably be posting here a lot! This seems like an amazing community and I am excited to finally be part of it!

Hello, and welcome! I can imagine the wait is gonna be a pain but it'll be worth it in the end. Are you new to Mac? If so spend the time rading up on them, here and elsewhere. I read so much before I got my Macbook and it really helped with the learning curve - But then again, I was a little obsessed..

Yes, I am new to Mac. I have used them before, but minimally. I have been reading up on them extensively in the past couple of days. I even have the useful sites bookmarked

i had to wait 2 weeks for my mac book as i customised it

I had a choice, order it online or go to the Apple Store and purchase it. I couldn't wait, I went straight to the Mac Store and purchased it.

Same here. I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can wait for a bit before I take the plunge on the MBP. It's going to be tough waiting though.
