I recently recieved a G3 Power mac with OS 9.2.2 and I was wondering if there is anyway to contect to the internet through my wireless router, or if I have to go old fashioned wires? It's not in the most convient location to get wires to, so I was just wondering if it was possible.

One way is to use a wireless usb adapter like a D-Link DWL-122.The wired way is most wireless routers have ethernet ports too and they make very long cat 5 cables. There are PCI wireless cards for macs aswell..you have to look for older ones that work with OS 9.

Your Mac's Specs
G5 dual 1.8 / G4 Dual 867 / iBook G3
Or there is the other option of using these devices that turn the electrical system into a network. Eg you buy 2 of these devices, plug one into a power socket ( near the router ) then attach a CAT5 from router to it. Then you plug the other device into an electric socket near the G3 and again a CAT5 from it to the mac...Done

Here are some links describing said devices :-

Hope this helps
