Hi
I am a new mac user and am not too sure what i'm doing most of the time.
I have successfully installed latex and have had no problems with it.
However I am writing some math text at the mo for which i need amsmath.
i went to the ams website and followed their link and downloaded what i was told to. I saved the files in the applications folder.
The commands are still not being read by the latex compiler though.There is obviously something else i need to do...if you know what i need to do please explain it to me without any jargon...i am an imbecile!
