I'm trying to use automator to rename a bunch of things for organizational purposes. Is there a way to use wild cards when setting up an action in automator? For example I have the following hypothetical list of files:
File 01 - some file.txt
File 02 - some other file.txt
File 03 - you get the picture.txt
I want to remove the "File 0* - " from these file names. Automator has a rename action for Finder that lets you replace text but I haven't been able to find anything let me do what I'm trying. Thanks for any help.
