hey everyone... i just ordered my 24" iMac today and i am thinking of getting rid of my current speaks, cause they are kinda huge and the sound isn't what they used to be... so i was wondering, what kinda speakers is everyone out there using? i was thinking about either getting the jbl creature speakers or the harmon kardon soundsticksII... but those are the only two that i have really looked into. so what do you guys use or recommend? thanks for all the input!

I use the speakers built in, unless I'm listening to iTunes, then its my 330watt mini system via Airtunes.

Older Altec Lansing's but I'm going to shop for something smaller with more power. I'll watch this thread to get some good ideas.

Bose Companion 2s. They get the job done, fill the room well for the most part, and are sensible for my dorm room situation. I'd consider getting at least a 2.1 system with a desktop however. With my iMac at home I use Harmon/Kardon Soundsticks II and love them.

Altec Lansing 2100s their kind of old now but they are pretty good speakers - LOADS of bass. They also did a 5.1 version of these speakers which are apparently great as well.
