Windows maximize

I just made the transition from pc --> mac.
Pc windows can be maximize to take the screen size but i've been trying
with macbook but it does not maximize like in a pc.
Is there a way to make it ?

Quickly, no there is not. The Maximize button makes the window take up the full size needed to display its content. If that doesn't require the full screen, it doesn't use it. Now, if the full content does exceed the screen size, it will take up the full screen.

It is always worth noting that Macs are not PCs, and they do exhibit different behaviours!
