Hey folks, new switcher here. I haven't gotten a new computer since my 833 mhz PC back in 2000 (it ruled) but I"m starting law school in August and needed a laptop. Just ordered a 15.4 MBP 2.33ghz, can't wait to get my hands on it. BTW, for anyone out there thinking about getting a mac, check out mac-connection.com. Found it on here and got the 2.33 with parallels for just a bit more than the 2.16 would have cost me with 2gb ram on apple.com. Apple charges sales tax, shame on them!

Nice Deal. I bought my Core Duo MacBook Pro after the Core 2 Duo versions came out at MacMall. The original price of my version (2.16ghz, 1 gig ram, 256mb vram) was $2500, but I managed to buy it for only $1600. Which shows, if one looks for deals, they can really find some sweet ones at online resellers.
