After seven months of owning my MacBook, I can honestly say that the honeymoon isn't even close to being over. I love this thing. I absolutely love this thing. Thinking about the seven - yes, 7 - PC/Windows notebooks that I owned over the years (always replacing useless junk with useless junk), I simply can't understand why I was so hesitant for so long to make the switch. No looking back, though...and no regrets. As promised: It Just Works.

i agree. i dig mine too. the design, the OS, the small footprint with relatively huge resolution. the little things too - magsafe, the battery lights, the huge trackpad with super functionality, the bright clear screen, the magnetic latch, etc.

i really just want to carry it with me everywhere.

1 year and 2 months, and I don't see my love to my iMac ending anywhere before the next iMac total makeover, which may never come. I'm keeping this thing forever. Usually when I get a computer I always say "Yeah, it's cool, but I know there's better stuff out there." And yes, there are C2Ds and Xeon Macs, but this baby is all I need and I don't see wanting more, except for more frikkin cool Apple software.... oh god leopard and ilife and iwork, please come fast!!!!!

Seven months later and I feel the same way. Unlike yogi though, I am a speed freak - WHEN are they ever going to release a CPU faster than 3.0 GHz. Just IMAGINE a Mac C2D at 4.0 GHz - makes your head spin just to think about it! That's when I'll upgrade next!

I love my mac, too. I love my mini so much that I'm buying a MBP as soon as my tax return comes in. :D:D:D

Hey, if I had the cash, I'd buy myself that fully-equipped iMac 24", but I'm not unhappy because of that. In PC-Land, you can buy whatever you want, knowing that it's not really what you need (not lastly because there's no OS X :p )
