• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I'm using a Power Mac G5 to put together a quick DVD of my vacation including 17 slideshows (1 per day) and some videos.

Compiling everything together is simple for me as I've had training with the program. Testing everything and simulation works perfectly fine. Each slideshow ranges from 5-20 images, has a song looping in the back and each slide playing for 15 seconds which can be user-navigated by remote, and has transitions in between.

When it comes to burning, DVDSP has to render these transitions before burning. It gets to slideshow 14 and all transitions rendered. Once it reaches slideshow 15, the rendering fails (remember, this is the rendering portion, not the burning) and the project fails. This has already happened twice. Everything is PSD and put together with batch actions so all the files are the same. Would anyone know what's going on?
