can't punch my 2 yo in the face... :eek:

he likes touching all the apples. glowing apple on the top cover, apple key, blue apple for the apple menu (i usually try to wave him off for that last one) while saying "APPU!".

I hate that too. There are a couple of finger prints on my macbooks screen but those are all me =)

we used to have these built in glare screens at work in our big console area. they were actually lids for the monitor area. i can't tell you how many times i saw people go to point at somthing on the screen and have their finger violently stop short about two inches from their actual screen with a loud thump! ow!

i almost completely forgot about that. now i've got a huge grin on my face!

i can't tell you how many times i saw people go to point at somthing on the screen and have their finger violently stop short about two inches from their actual screen with a loud thump! ow!

Oddly enough, it's common practice for employees where I work to point at their screens. Not just touch them, but actually poke them, so you see that lovely LCD smear.

These aren't ordinary n00bs, either. They're programmers and admins.

If one of them tries that with my PowerBook screen, though...wham! I'll poke them where it hurts!

lmao wow 20 min after i posted this thread my brother asked me to look up some nba score and his looking while im in the seat and he POKES IT!! i just started laughing then yelled :)
