I want to copy a CD. I put the CD in and the icon appears on the desktop. I control click it and see 2 options which I figure to be possibles for making it copy the CD. One is "Copy [cd name]". I click on that, and NOTHING happens!! Nothing at all!!
The other is "duplicate". All that does it brings up an error message (error code -8058), with no explanation.
So, how am I meant to copy a CD?
Thanks!

Justin,

That "copy" menu item isn't for copying discs. It's meant to copy and paste text. It should be grayed out when you right click on a disc, meaning that it doesn't do anything. Duplicate is only for duplicating files, not discs.

To copy a disk, you need to use something like Disk Utility (under Applications/Utilities) or better yet, get Roxio Toast (a must-have program if you do much disc burning).
